Workout

Lesson

Workout: Relay race in which specifies different kinds of

intensities

First explain the relay and how to do it correctly

Lastly Discussion: Intensities explained and then
discussion will commence as to what parts of the relay
were more or less (low/moderate/high) intensive.

Activity: Regular activities made into exercise

There will be 3 stations that represent a regular after

school activity in which they will be divided into.
At each station they will explain how they act in each
setting.
Then each person will be given an understandable
statistic/study to share with the group about their
station. For an example: on average high schoolers
watch 6 hours of TV a day, which contributes to obesity.
Then as a group they will decide what they can do in
these situations that can make it a more intense activity.
Then they will in act it.
If time permits they will then switch stations
1. Station 1- Watching TV
2. Station 2- Siting in the car
3. Station 3- Homework/studying

Wrap-up: Discussion

They will report what their activity was and what they did
to make it more active
