7/3/2009 - AFS Full Scholarship Returnee Reunion

AFS Thailand organized the first full scholarship returnee reunion on

March 7-8, 2009, at Richmond Hotel, Nonthaburi. The event aims at
building the AFS full scholarship returnee network and planning on
community service projects.
The event started with the opening speech from Mr. Sanan
Augubolkul, Chairman of AFSThailand, followed by the welcome
speech from Mr. Apithai Buranasiri,AFS-THA National Director. The
morning program was highlighted by “Talk with Alumni” session by
Mr. Surawat Chompoopong, AFS-THA Board of Director.
The afternoon session began with the warm-up activities bringing
back the vivid memory of the Pre-departure Camp to the event
attendants. Then, activities were conducted to form a steering
committee and to plan project work of the group. The get-together
party beautifully concluded the 1st day program.
The following morning started with the committee selection and
plans for practical project. The meeting finished with joyful and the
bonding among the returnees grew increasingly
stronger. AFS Thailand successfully formed the new energetic group
of volunteers
