to be this year's recipient of the Bryn Mawr
College President's Book Award. This award recognizes a student who demonstrates an intense
intellectual commitment, a purposeful vision of her life, and a desire to make a meaningful contribution
to the world.
You will soon be receiving The River of No Return, a novel by Bryn Mawr faculty member Bethany
Schneider under the pen name of Bee Ridgway, to be presented to your selected student. The River of
No Return is a fast-paced time travel adventure that was released in 2013 to great acclaim. Vanity Fair
has called it "a roller coaster ride," and The Washington Post named it a notable book of 2013, calling it
an "instant classic." The book has an award plaque inside the front cover that should be completed with
the name of the recipient.

We are thrilled to include St. Agnes Academy among the select group of high schools that will award the
Bryn Mawr College President's Book Award this year and to learn more about the outstanding young
