Toronto, ON M1W1Z5 Home (416) 802-0810 April 17th, 2015 John Johnson, Nurse Recruiter Humber College Hospital 205 Humber College Blvd Toronto ON M9W 5L7 Dear Mr Johnson: This letter is regarding a recent post on the Humber College opportunities web site for new nursing graduates. As you can see from my resume, I will graduate in September 2015 from the Humber College School of Advanced Learning. Through my clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to work in numerous settings, including acute care, rehab, and long-term care. My experiences have enabled me to develop tenacious skills that will prepare me well for the challenges of nursing. I have completed my pre-graduate experience at Bayview Extendicare and I am presumptuous that I will continue to develop as a nurse; particularly as I render care to a diverse patient population. In addition to my nursing skills, I have developed my leadership skills as well. As a member of the Humber United Nurses Association, I have been involved in our blood pressure clinics which have a high success rate in assessing Humber College students and providing them with the information necessary in changing their life habits to improve their blood pressure. I am very interested in beginning my nursing career at Humber College Hospital and believe that my skills and experience prepare me well. I will contact you during the week of April 17th to discuss career opportunities. I look forward to meeting you, and please do not hesitate to contact me at 416-802-0810. Sincerely,
