No matter how troublesome and disheartening life gets, there is always someone there to
help you through. Of course, everyone hopes that this is true, everyone hopes that there will
always be someone to lean on. Surrounding ourselves with good people is only possible if there
are honorable people to choose from. Just as Giorgio Perlasca risked his lives to save strangers in
the Holocaust, recognize the bad and take action. Let this influence you, portray bravery and be
an honorable person who will save someones hope in humanity.
Giorgio Perlasca himself is an inspiration. To completely appreciate the valor of Perlasca,
there are many tributes in his name. The Banality of Goodness by Enrico Deaglio is the
incredible true story of Giorgio who saved thousands of Jews in World War II and is being told in
English for the first time (Conti). Because of this, more and more readers can begin to be moved
by this information. Also, there is a movie, Perlasca: The Courage of a Just Man, which is
another alternative for learning about Perlasca (Rotten Tomatoes). There is no better way to be
made aware of Perlasca than by watching the story be brought to life and reenacted as it
happened. One more impressive and notable affirmation for Perlasca is the orchestral song, His
Finest Hour, which was orchestrated by the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra and composed by
Moshe Zorman (Borschel-Dan). They thought that everyone should hear about him and that the
