Miss Jorgensen was assigned to my classroom through the S.M.I.L.E. Credentialing program at SDSU. She came into my classroom ready and willing to learn the ins and out of teaching elementary school. The classroom has many levels of learning. Miss Jorgensen worked with the all students on a regular basis in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education and art. Miss Jorgensen facilitated scientific investigations and projects with the entire class. Miss Jorgensen’s ability to work with both small and large groups was demonstrated across the curriculum. She supported daily work in all areas and extended learning in others. She planned and prepared both long and short term goals in all subject areas. Miss Jorgensen’s dedication to the classroom and all aspects of pecina is apparent everyday she enters the room. She worked above and beyond the expectations of her assignment. She is always on time, professional, and most importantly willing to jump in and work. She embodies the new yo talent that I feel the teaching profession deserves.
