Design 3:
There is no narration required in my final design. However, below one will
find the stage directions. There will be one scene here which will have
narration, though it is not required.
-Acting will begin from scene 2.
Scene 2:
The filming will begin when a person is seated on the floor in front of a wall
and is begging people, who pass, to give money. A sign hung on the wall
says help, signifying what the person is trying to say.
Scene 3:
In this scene a clipboard which has a stack of papers which consists of
pictures, quotes, and other important visual statistics which shows poverty in
Dubai, UAE is shown. All of this information will be showed in a flip book way.
This means I will be turning each page to show the next, but how it is done in
the comic books. The first image to be shown will be a map of the world,
showing Dubai`s location, and explaining that poverty can exist anywhere.
There will be a variety in statistics in this design as there will be quotes, pie
charts, and graphs all relating to poverty in Dubai.
Scene 4:
In this scene I will be holding a white piece of paper with black text. On one
side I will be showing what immigrant workers think will happen when they
originally come to work in Dubai, and what really happens when they come
to work.
Scene 5:
There will be a fact on top of the slide or screen which says around how
many children are living below the poverty line in Dubai. Below there will be
a child who is running looking back and thinking to himself how he/she can
escape poverty.
Zoya: More than 20,000 children in Dubai are living below the poverty line.
Scene 6:
In this scene I am showing two people shake hands, who are clearly in the
richer class of Dubai, in order to say no to Poverty.
Zoya: After seeing how people live through such problems, let us be grateful
for what we have and say no to poverty.
