2000T2 Book Room Resources
2000T2 Book Room Resources
Organising resources
Resources in the book room have been organised in year groups. Please read these
lists and make suggestions. I would like to continue Susies great efforts building our
resources and I am aware that this new system may produce some gaps in genres and
range of quality choices.
How will year groupings of resources work?
Year 7 - will only use year 7 resources
Y e a r 8 - will primarily use year 8 resources and have access to year 7 resources
(although year 7 classes will have priority use)
Year 9 will primarily use year 9 resources and have access to year 8 and 7
resources (although year 7 and 8 classes will have priority use)
How will priority use work?
1. check the booking sheet
2. indicate through email your intention to use a priority designated text (title,
numbers of copies, duration) to all faculty staff
3. all resources must be signed for, if teachers share resources, it is the signatorys
responsibility to return the fully complement of books borrowed
Where will I find the year grouped resources?
Year 7 resources are on the shelves on the right side of the book room (as you enter).
Y e a r 8 resources are on the shelves on the back wall.
Year 9 resources are on the shelves on the left side of the book room.
Managing resources
To ensure the equitable sharing of resources, program and resource
management would you please undertake the following:
1. provide feedback regarding resources allocated to year groups*
2. return resources not being used-please stack them on the desks
in the resource room
3. complete the booking sheet# for all resources that you would like to use
for term 2
4. resources that you have in your room and would like to continue to use
for term 2 will also need to be recorded on the booking sheet (teachers will
negotiate the use of high demand books)
*This list is incomplete and based on the resources in the room on the day. It
will be updated.
