information given in the film, and the definition found on this link
http://www.iep.utm.edu/neoplato/ , can we agree or disagree that Hyphatia the

the proliferation of knowledge and philosophy? Do you think that if all of those
documents would have been preserved, the interpretation of knowledge as we know
it today would be different?
The burning of the Library of Alexandria might hinder the proliferation of knowledge and philosophy.

knowledge would probably be the same as of today.
3. Taking in consideration the concept of God defined by Socrates, Plato and
Aristotle Why did Hypathia refuse to convert to Christianity?
This is because Hypathia believed in math and science more than God. But however, she did believe in

and philosophy which were related to God.
4. The Parabolani as portrayed in this film depict a group of morality police
which resembles groups that currently exists in many countries in the world. Sharia
enforcers in Muslim countries hate groups in western countries and other groups
that are culturally biased against cultures different than their own. Do you think
that groups of this nature are necessary to guarantee the functionality, safety and
the perpetuation of culture? Please elaborate on why or why not.
In my opinion, I feel that it is not necessary to have those groups to guarantee the functionality, safety and
the perpetuation of culture. These groups are biased and they are not in an ideal position to determine any
actions related to morality. Furthermore, there are certain activities and actions that are cultural relative
and might not be appropriate in those enforcers point of view.
