MAKING A SAMPLER INSTRUMENT

1) Click the edit button in the upper right hand corner of the EX24
2) Under the Instrument menu, click New
3) Go to zone, click new zone- audio file-click on the arrow, it will reveal a
browser window from which you can select the sample you want to use. Once
selected, it will be loaded into the zone.
4) From there, you can select the range, (the range of notes over which the
sample will be heard),and the key, or root key, which determines which note
will play the sample back at its original pitch. In addition, you can adjust sample
start, end, and loop points plus volume and other parameters. You can make as
many zones as you like, or until you run out of keys on the keyboard to assign
them to.
5) Go back to the Instrument menu and click Save as, Name your new
Instrument.
