Thoughts on Veganism

After meditating for an extended period of time, I have come

to the conclusion that we are natural herbivores. Our very
anatomy would support this conclusion. Medical studies also
show profound improvements in health when following a
balanced, whole-food vegan diet.
Moreover, it is quintessential for the preservation of our
environment that we substantially reduce the consumption
of animal products on a global scale.
This will reduce the demand for, and ultimately the
production of said products. The resources, e.g. water, grain,
land area, etc. spent on animal agriculture could be used to
supply sustenance to the rest of the worlds population.
Finally, going vegan will psychologically aid us in
relinquishing our culture of violence and oppression, as it
imbues a greater sense of compassion for other species,
which in turn should subconsciously translate to our fellow
human beings.
