You are on page 1of 3

Grab a sheet of the 9 by 12 drawing paper.

Draw a 3 inch grid. This should give you 3 boxes across the short
side and 4 boxes along the long side of the paper.
To draw a 3 inch grid, line the ruler up with the top left corner of
your paper (short side up), draw a dot at 3 and 6.
Slide the ruler down and do the same for the bottom of the page.
Connect the dots at top to the dots at bottom.
Turn your paper so the long side is at the top.
Line the ruler up with the top left corner of your paper, draw a
dot at 3 and 6.
Slide the ruler down and do the same for the bottom of the page.
Connect the dots at top to the dots at bottom.
You now have 12 squares on your paper, 3 across the short side
and 4 across the long side.

Number each square with a pencil, from left to right with 1

through 12.
Mark out the numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 10 and 12. You will not need
these full squares to make your cube.

Draw small edges or tabs on the sides of 2, 5 and 11 like

shown

Being careful not to cut off the tabs or edges you just drew, cut
away the crossed out boxes.
