Assignment #6
I met a student name Chris Keodovangdy on February, 20th 2015 in
Geology class 107. I asked him some questions about the class and himself.
He shared with me that Geology 107 is an easy class and most of the time in
class, they work with telescopes, distinguishing fossils. More suprisingly, for
this two-hour class, he only spends one hour study outside. The tests and
quizzes are not pretty hard but make sure to take good notes he said.
Chris also spends a lot of time for homework but they are all easy because
he just has to write down what he has worked on. He thinks that the class
content is interesting, easy and the rest students all enjoy this class. He does
not use text book many times but he has read it five or six times before. The
class is useful to him because he wants to be a geologist in the future and he
also has chances to practice with fossils a lot. When I questioned about
advice about this class, he laughed and said that I just had to remember to
study for tests. Chris also mentioned that because this class requires to work
in group many times, I have to be friendly with others students in order to
have good results. Beside Geology 107, Chris is also taking Psychology 120,
American Minority and Ethnic Study 194. He has been a good friend since I
started attending at this class. Hopefully in the future, we will have chance to
study together.
