Project Overview
For our ACP there will be showing a music video of the song pretty hurts by beyonce
which will then lead into our fashion show that we will be hosting. We will be rounding
up a group of 6-9th grade students, to participate in this event. Where they will be
expressing their talent. They have the option of modeling, singing, dancing, or even
raping. In between the fashion show we will also have a professional speaker; Mari
Williams, speaking to the group about how important self-esteem and self-confidence
is. She will also be speaking about the way generations may perceived females
because of what they do/wear. At the end of the presentation we will be holding a sister
circle to talk to the young people about how they feel about themselves, how they
should feel about themselves, and why they should have confidence in who they are
and what they look like.

Statement of Interest
The reason we would like to combine our acp's together is because all of our topics
consist self esteem within people and how females are viewed and their self worth. Our
motivation for doing this acp is because we have watched the young people ,especially
females of this generation , get disrespected and misuse the term self worth. The goal
is to change the mindset of how females view their self. Another goal is to build up self
esteem and self value in young females in this generation.

Audience
The audience benefiting from our ACP will be females from grades 6th-9th.
