I believe, that the future belongs to people who see possibilities before they

become obvious.
As part of the Quiz Club for the past 2 years, I have achieved the following:
1. First runner up at Tata Crucible Business Quiz Patna and won a cash
prize of Rs. 50,000.
2. First runner up at BizQuiz organized by SMS College, Varanasi.
3. I am editor of the ENQUIZTA Facebook page which has now more than
2.5K likes.
4. I was able to register more than 100 teams for the IMS India Quiz (KY
2014).
5. Consistent performer at Intra College quizzes.
The vision from my side would be to increase the outreach of the club at the
Institute Level and also through Quizaventure.
Quizaventure: Focusing on organizing quizzes on school will be prime priority.
Here the Quizzing club can be shown as a hobby which contributes to
recreation and instills the feeling of excitement and competitiveness and at
the same times cements the confidence in the student.
Now considering the institute level quizzing.
For the 1st year students, quiz club can be shown as a forum where students
increase their General awareness and the resourcefulness .It would be an
acid test of confidence, basic survival skills .Technical professionals
especially IITians are found wanting in these areas as large part of their time
dedicated to academics. Quizzing would be presented as free of cost hobby
which can help them improve and learn in a fun way and act as a confidence
booster.
I would include some non-conventional quizzes such as Bollywood and
Cricket Quiz, aimed at non quizzers. I plan to expedite the process of giving
out certificates which will encourage more participation. Also I plan on having
a collaboration with other clubs, for e.g. we can organize an ECO Quiz for
Green Club. This will increase our presence at institute level.
The busiest schedule for the quiz club is during KashiYatra. Bringing sponsors
for our events is a daunting task. Targeting coaching institutions for
sponsorship would be crucial for ENQUIZTAs success.
During the weekends organize an event related to the same,,to make it
attractive for newcomers give them quizzes on current affairs(niti, jan dhan).
