I would like to apply for the Physical Education teaching position posted on SchoolSpring.com.
Please consider me for the physical education position that is available for the 2014-2015 school
year. With a degree in Movement and Sports Studies and a Health Studies minor from
Springfield College, I have six years of teaching experience in urban and suburban settings.
I am a physical educator because I believe that physical activity and participation in sports can
help develop students into young adults. There are many different life long lessons that can be
learned in a physical education classroom. I strongly encourage students to make healthy
decisions independently and challenge themselves to new experiences. My main missions are to
sculpt the minds of young adults and inspire them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
My greatest strengths include my ability to work with others and to lead by example. I pride
myself in my strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to connect with students. As both a
teacher and coach, I strive to help my students achieve their highest goals. I believe that building
relationships with students and acting as a role model is the best way to educate.
I look forward with great anticipation to discussing with you how I can make a difference in your
