The event will take place at Holcroft Park located at 40 Mill Street Gloucester Crossing Beverly, Mass. It is designed to clean up the Gloucester crossing neighborhood and plant trees for Earth Day. This is a new event North Shore Community Development Coalition is starting this year in partnership with Beverly Senior Center. The event will include volunteers from the neighborhood, the Beverly Senior Center, Endicott College and NSCDC Youth Build Program. It is designed to help broaden its partnership with Beverly in community engagement, and the Beverly childrens learning center. The goal of this event is to bring together all age groups as well as families in the community to give back for Earth Day. Along with the cleanup, families and community members will also plant trees at Holcroft Park. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the neighborhood clean up and tree planting at the park. After a picnic will follow from 11:30-12:30 p.m. North Shore Community Development Coalition is a community organization serving on the North Shore. The mission of this organization is dedicated to investing in low-income neighborhoods to revitalize them and create thriving communities that can grow through communication and hard work. ####
