I chose to do the food journal because I knew that because of my nutrition

class I could get all of the things that I eat listed including the caloric intake of the
day. Because of a medication that I take my calorie intake is usually lower than it
should be. To answer the prompt questions, my energy levels on Tuesday were ok,
not very high but not very low either. My irritability however is higher when Im not
eating as much. The day of class I always try to eat before so my body can burn the
calories immediately and have energy to play. Because of the low intake of calories,
I have been losing weight that has resulted in an increase in self-confidence. I think
that food can have a big effect on how we feel, for example, too much sugar and
we feel groggy and sick to our stomachs on occasion. But, on the opposite side of
the spectrum, too little sugar in our systems and we are sluggish and it can throw
other functions out of whack.
