Here, try this light macaroni salad that fits those who opted for simply less in

gredients.
Ingredients:
kilo small shell or elbow macaroni
tsp. oil
Italian dressing (optional)
cup sliced stuffed olives
4 stalks celery, sliced
1 white onion, grated mayonnaise.
Cooking Instructions:
In a large pan, boil water and add 2-3 drops of oil.
Put macaroni and cook for 7 minutes or until al dente.
Drain. Rinse under cold water and drain again.
Put in a bowl, Moisten with Italian dressing and add sugar, if desired, Toss lig
htly.
Add olives, celery, onion, and mayonnaise, Toss.
Cover and chill before serving.
ADOBONG TARLAC
Ingredients:
1k. pork (piqu)
1k. chicken
liter pineapple juice
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup white vinegar
2 tbsps. Black pepper
1 cup sliced pineapple
1 head garlic, chopped
3 onions, chopped
cup cooking oil
1 laurel leaf
Cooking Instructions:
Marinate the pork and chicken pieces in pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar, lau
rel leaf and pepper for 2 hours.
Remove the pork and chicken and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan and saut the garlic and onion.
Add the marinated pork and chicken along with the marinade. Allow to simmer unti
l the sauce has thickened.
Serve topped with pineapple slices.
