    Working with a group of youth and staff to build homes for low-income
    families to purchase. Renovating transitional houses owned by Bi-County
    Cap. Carpentry skills include: Taping, mudding, and sanding sheetrock,
    framing, hanging Tyvek, staining, painting, and concrete. Also using power
    equipment and other tools such as: reciprocating saw, circular saw, miter
    saw, band saw, table saw, nail guns, and power drills. Participating in
    program activities such as: career exploration, greenhouse, gardening, and
    vending entrepreneurship, life skills education (cooking, cleaning, and
    budgeting finances).

    Salvation Army: Operation Minnesota Nice- sent boxes of supplies to


    deployed servicemen.
    Pack-to-School - filled backpacks with school supplies and distributed them to
    low-income families. Made gifts for area nursing home residents and visited
    them during holidays. Painted the Senior Center in RedLake with other young
    adults. Filled duffle bags with blankets, teddy bears, and other gifts for foster
    children.
