You'll need to think about what the market wants, what you want to do, and what you have
to offer. The ideal job would be the overlapping point between these three. If you can't land
such a job right after school, think about where to get you closer/ faster to it. Apparently,
people can help you with the first piece: what the market wants, but you have to figure out
the second and third pieces yourself. That's the hardest part. I think you should be clear
about these two, or at least where they overlap. The job/ internship searching process will
help you with this. That's one of the reasons why schools push you to do it early (The other
reason is, each career path has its own timing, where companies will start, and end the
recruiting process. If you miss it, you'll find yourself compete with a larger number of
