Nashayla 8. Whitten 3/5I15 ‘Dream Classroom ‘My dream classroom was created for a third grade class of fifteen students. In my dream classroom, I want 15 students, It would easy for me to manage and i will also be able to know my student personally, My dream grade level is third grade because that is the transition period for most students, This is when they start standardized testing and the responsibilities of an official elementary student begins. I have my room set up to where there is a lot of space. [have the desks set up in a semi-circle. In my opinion, this will encourage an open, free environment conducive to leaming, I want my student to feel liberated to say what they when it comes to shaving their intellectual ideas. I will set the environment so that my students all know that there is no such thing as a dumb question, My classroom environment will give all students Tiberty to be themselves. I will pull out the best in my students and they will know that their teacher cares about them and their learning. My desk is set up behind the student so J can see them at all times, Yet, my desk is close to them so they can feel free to come to my desk if anything troubles them. Directly behind the class desks I have a kidney table so that I can work with small groups of students. I can pull the students that are struggling and reteach and/or practice with them. F can pull out the gifted and talented students and extend the lesson for them so that all students will be ‘engaged in my learning. No one will be bored, In the back of the classroom is a reading center for the students, The reading center consists of a book stand, 2plush chairs and a bean bag, T will encourage reading in all subjects. After work is done students will be allowed to go to readingcenter and/or visit computers, There will not be an opportunity for play in my class. There will always be AR Tests that can be taken or Compass Learning to be completed. “This is my dream classroom design. It was designed to create a classroom environment conducive for leatning. The desks are set up to where each student can be responsible for theit own learning, Yet, all students will be guided and helped to success.
