Using the red boxes I have identified the main conventions on

this music magazine, such as; masthead which is located at the

centre top of the page, the bar code and date placed on the
right centre on the page, main image which is a close up on the
female artists face, straplines on a small volume but are still
present represented neatly at the bottom of the page, headline
in a separate styled font and featured obviously below the
masthead near the eye contact of the main image.
I chose this front cover as an example to demonstrate the key
convention because this magazine brand has taken a unique
take on the concepts behind the conventions and slightly
challenges them in terms of their position.
