Child Huger Reflection

1. Please provide a detailed summary describing the artifact and its purpose.
In our Digital Literacy class we did a project on child hunger in the United States. We had to do
inform our younger peers about child hunger and how we can help stop it. We presented to an 8th
grade class. We created a prezi with all the information we thought was useful.

2. Identify and list the GLPO(s) that were satisfied in completing this artifact. In addition, please
explain how these GLPO(s) were met by specifically referring to the examples or evidence from
the artifact. (Please specifically refer to the indicators within each domain, and do not simply
state that you Took Action or Communicated Ideas.)
The GLPO(s) that were satisfied in completing this project were communicating ideas and
taking action. I communicated ideas because I and my group presented to another class and
informed them about what is going on in the United States. Also we gave them bookmarks with
statistics about child hunger. I tuck action in this project because I and my group have them ideas
of what they can do to help people that are going throw hunger in the United States.

3. What skill and concepts were learned in completing this artifact and how will they affect your
future?
The concepts and skills that were learned in completing this project were researching
information and putting it into a prezi class. Also another skill that was learned was working as a
group and knowing how to work as a group to complete this project. Presenting to a class was
another skill that I learned from this project.

4. What might you do differently if you were able to recreate or revise the final project?
What I would've done differently would be making sure that all of my group would have talked
during the presentation not only two or three people. Also maybe make sure that all of the group
actually would of helped creating the prezi and helping make the bookmarks. Another thing that I
would've done differently would be dividing up the work so everyone has equal amount of work.
