Globalization
What Do people in Australia Depend on From Other
Countries?
Australians depend on other countries for their major imports such as,
petroleum, cars, trucks, medications, computers, telephones, and more. The
biggest trade partners to Australia are China, the U.S., Japan, and Singapore.
Without these trade partners Australia would lack the resources to fuel
businesses and the economy.

How is Australia Challenged by Globalization?

Not everyone in Australia believes in globalization. Globalization takes
a lot of business away from Australian companies. If everyone has different
opinions on the matter then it challenging to move in either direction. One
more obvious challenge is transportation of goods. Australia is located pretty
far away from most other countries. this can cause the price of items from
out of country to go up significantly do to the travel cost.

Is Globalization Good or Bad for Australia?

Globalization can be good and bad for Australia. At the moment the
country relies on other nations for key resources. For now, this is a good step
for Australia. In the future, Australia should try and go for some more
economic diversity and pull away from globalization to be a self-sustaining
country in case of a global catastrophe or economic collapse.
