Doesnt appear Barbaric or Brutal like other methods
Fairly quick method, about 9 minutes
Peaceful and Painless death(some dont believe statement is true anymore)

Cons

Shortage of Drugs used to carry out method

Drugs used are very expensive
Seems more like a medical procedure instead of an execution
Botched executions cause unnecessary pain and suffering
Nitrogen Hypoxia

Pros

Puts prisoner in state of euphoria for a brief time

Makes prisoner loss Consciousness so no pain is felt
Very quick method, less than 3 minutes
Nitrogen gas is cheap and readily available

Cons

Outlawed for euthanasia of animals

Never been used on a human being
Not very much research and testing done, unsure if it is safe and effective
Firing Squad

Pros

Resources used are readily available and fairly inexpensive

5 trained police men are used and one has a wax bullet so no one knows who
fired the lethal shot.
Very quick method, if properly executed it takes about a minute
No mistaking what it actually is

Cons

Very gruesome and brutal

Shooter could purposely miss to cause prisoner pain
Prisoners choose it because it seems more manly and use it as an attention
getter

Electric Chair
Pros

It is an effective method
There will never be a shortage of electricity

Cons

It is very gruesome and disturbing

Is very painful for the prisoner
Almost like a method of torcher
Expensive method to use
