According to oshima (1991:3), to get a good result of writing, the writer must be

concern in the 5 elements such as : topic sentence, supporting sentence,

concluding sentence, unity and coherence.
Beside those 5 elements above, in writing process also has some steps as :
prewriting, planning, writing and revising.

Viewing writing as an act of communication suggests an interactive process which takes

place between writer and reader via text.
The writing process, in compariosn to spoken interaction, imposes greater demands on
the text, since written interaction lacks immediate feedback as a guide. The writer has to
anticipate the readers reactions and produce a text which will adhere to grices(1975)
cooperative principle.
Writing, like the other language skills, needs to be dealth with at the particular
level of linguistic and discourse proficiency that the intended students have
reached (Raimes 1985). The proposed sequence of activities will start with
primary focus on the mechanical aspects of writing as the basic instrumental
skill, and gradually move on to a combiantion of purpose for writing and
language focus. Eventually, the communicative perspective will become more
central to such writing activities.
By mecahnics we usually refer to letter recognition, letter discriminations .
