conducting a survey. I was actually surprised with the results I received. I felt like most people
would disagree with the payment of college athletes because it does not seem fair to the average
college student. The results for the rest of the survey questions are attached to the back of this
essay.
In conclusion, there are many arguments both for and against the payment of college
athletes. As I discovered very early on, it will take me longer than this semester to develop an
answer to my inquiry question. With that being said, I have not yet decided whether I support or
oppose the payment of college athletes. However, iI had to choose a side then I am leaning
‘more towards the opposing side. My main reason for this is because many normal college, /
students experience the same issues as college athletes. Being a college student, I realize that

‘management. As an engineering major, there have been many times where I have had to make a
decision about which assignments were more important because there simply was not enough
hours in the day to complete all of them. College athletes chose to play a sport while getting
their education so I believe they should leam to manage their time and money just like every Gry se
other college student. I believe there are too many variables involved with paying college
athletes to develop an efficient payment plan. Throughout this project, I began to question if
professional athletes are overpaid. I would like to further explore the payment of professional
athletes in order to determine if they are worth the amount they are paid. I plan to stay up-to-
date with information pertaining to my topic even after this course is complete so that I can
hopefilly discover an answer to my inquiry question!
