I am interested in the Progressive Care Unit RN position that you are searching to fill. I
have experience in taking care of patients with multiple disease processes and know that this is
an attribute for the Progressive Care unit RN position that has been described in the listing. I
have great patient care techniques, excellent family relations, and essential team building skills. I

My skills of caring for patients with multiple disease processes, as well as experience with
therapy and rehabilitation will be a great fit. Frequently overflow patients from ICU and CCU
have visited my unit, so my skills with Cardiac Care, Tracheotomy Care, Wound Vacuums and
G- tubes are current. Medication administration, post surgical care, and IV/ PICC line therapy
and maintenance have been part of my daily routines.
I am accustomed to a busy, frequently changing environment, and have acquired excellent
time management and organizational skills to accomplish the highest level of care for my
patients. I play a large part in community volunteering and know I will be a great addition to
Texas Health Southwest.
