To Whom It May Concern: It is with pleasure that I recommend Cary Zepernick for an Assistant Principal position. I had the honor of working alongside Cary for two years, and during that time, she has shown a dedication to doing what is right for students and continuously strives for professional growth. Cary currently serves as a fourth grade teacher at Bluebonnet Elementary, working with general education students, English Language Learners, and talented and gifted students. Despite the wide array of needs posed by her students, she is unwavering in her commitment to providing engaging and authentic learning experiences through research-based best practices and data analysis. Her diligence in communicating clearly and consistently in close collaboration with colleagues and parents to enhance her students progress is a key factor in their successes. Carys interpersonal skills are a personal and professional strength and contribute to the development of positive and supportive relationships with students, parents, and faculty. During my time knowing Cary, she has continuously strived to improve her practice, and has served as a member of the leadership team, as team facilitator, an after-school tutor, and leads the No Excuses University cohort on campus. She exhibits strong leadership skills and is a reflective practitioner. Cary demonstrates a positive attitude, compassion and genuine caring for children and adults, and she has a passion for life-long learning that is noted by all of the students and faculty that work with her. She is a trusted leader on the Bluebonnet campus, and I believe she is an educator for life who will excel in her ongoing professional work.
