By the end of the lesson, students will have the ability to


formulate factual ideas and conclusion about the Indian
removal act of 1830. Student will be able to utilize
informational resources (such as documents, websites, and
Databases) for academic purpose, and be able to formulate
an oral presentation on the topic.

PREREQUISITE CONTENT
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Before the lesson, students will need to understand how to


create an research paper, an understanding of American
history, an understanding of how to properly cite a source,
and howto search for credible sources of information
online.

PREREQUISITE COMPUTER
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Prior to starting the lesson, students will need to be skilled


in accessing the Internet as well as online sites to find
historical resources for citing.
Students will utilize the Internet for Indian Removal Act
related information.
Students will write a two page paper using Microsoft Word
and hand the paper into the teacher.
