Final Portfolio Essay
Over the course of this semester, I have seen myself mature as a writer. I have gone
through the process of revision some great number of times. Many energy drinks have been
drunk and many hours of sleep have been lost to make sure this whole semester has gone through
perfectly. Now I know this is supposed to be reflective in nature, but I will look at things Ive
done, and maybe show you how I am and why this is some of my best work yet.
Now see, a normal person would be someone who be the organized type. They would
want every artifact together and they would want all the major papers together. Honestly, I feel
like it would be so much waste of time to try to organize than to do the actual portfolio. Now I
put stuff in the portfolio in no particular order. My main concern was making sure I got every
important work into the portfolio. I was not going to leave a stone unturned like I did in my
UWRT 1101 class.
In the ways that my writing has grown, I am much more aware of the words that I put
down in my drafts, that way I do not have to focus so much on my wording, but more on my
conventional use of paragraphs and transitions between subjects.
