Title: what objects are attracted by magnets?

Rationale: To know what objects are attracted by magnet and what objects are not.
Objectives:
- General objective (aim): To learn about the magnet and how it works.

Instructional Procedures:
Session 1.
Materials needed: -Magnet
- Plastic ruler
- Paper clip
- plastic cup
- pen
- pencil
- paper
- eraser
- ruler( made up of metals)

Introduction:
Ask the students if they know the meaning of the word magnet
Body:
I will start the lesson by asking some students to distribute magnets to their peers.
Students will perform an experiment which is putting a magnet beside the things that are
found in their pencil case. Like pencil eraser
I will draw a table in the board and try to classify materials the magnet attracted and
those who did not.
After doing this experiment I will ask students what do they observe, and what do they

conclude.
Students will come out to the result which is the magnet attracts objects that are made
from metals.
I will perform an experiment in-front of the students, which is putting a pencil clip on the
back of the paper, and a magnet on the other side of the paper.
I will ask the students about what do they observe.
Then I will move the magnet, and ask the students about what do they see.
Students will find out the conclusion, which is magnet can move objects from a distance.
Closure:
After solving the worksheet with the students I will make a quick revision for the main
concepts of the lesson.
