Refrigerated Air Dryers

For any cycling refrigerated dryer, the amount of power (kW) consumed will depend
on the amount of air being dried (SCFM). The graph below shows the relationship
between power and flow for both the RD-2400 digital cycling refrigerated dryer and
RC-2400 cycling refrigerated dryer.
For flows below 1800 SCFM, the RC-2400 dryer will be the most energy efficient.
However, at approximately 1800 SCFM, both dryer will use an equal amount of
power, and for flows above 1800 SCFM the RD-2400 will be most efficient.
With some information about the air flow demand in your facility we will be able to
accurately estimate the cost of running each dryer.
