Connections and Collaborations

Throughout this semester, we have been making connections. Whether they are to other
classes or to other students. These connections helped us turn into the great writers we are today
as well as helping shape our future. I made connections to other students when I took my
projects to the peer workshops that we did for each major project. These connections were made
when other students read my papers or projects because they would try and compare it with their
works. I also made connections to the text that was required for the course. We would read the
material and then connect them to whatever assignment we were working on at the moment.
This helped build our writing skills because it made us look at what the text was saying and then
apply it to our own work. Another connection I made during the semester was to college in
general. We were always told not to procrastinate because that would mean we didnt have
enough time to plan out what we were going to talk about. This applies to college because we
dont want to procrastinate all the time and we should plan out what we are going to talk about.
