Course Description: This course will introduce and examine topics throughout the course
of American History. This includes the range of early colonial times all the way up until
present day. Presidents, places, events, and other key concepts will be covered as well.
Course Goals: -to understand basic concepts of U.S. history
-being able to read and analyze primary sources
-develop ability to work in groups
-being able to communicate responses
-strengthen studying and academic skills through history
-develop more knowledge on American History

Grade Weighting:
-Quizzes: 15%
-Participation: 15%
-Exams: 10% Each (4 total)
-Paper 20%
Missed or Late Work WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
