I am with xxxx company from last 2yrs as oracle dba.

I am part of support team.i used to support more than 10 clients in diffrent shi
fts.
we have more than 20 instance which includs Test,Dev,Prod instance.
2.tell me the team size..
we are more than 15 members in our team .we will be supporting morethan 10 clien
ts containg more than 20 instance which include dev,test,and Prod databases.
3.daily activities.
some time i will be working in shifts also...i will get handover from previous s
hift guy..then i will check the pending activities and start working on that.
which includes
1. Doing the Daily health checks (alert log monitoring,table space growth,count
of invalids, checking of mountpoints )
2. Addressing the issues assigned to me
3. Giving proactive sugegstions to avoid issues
4. Pacthing
5. Cloning
8. Rasing SR'S and following them
9. Documenting all issues/impementaions
adding datafiles if ts recahes threshold level
2.backup status
3.dev sync with prod monitoring
4,table space and archive log destination monitoring
5.performance monitoring
6.applying oneoff/cpu patches
1)check if ur database and instance is up
2)check the litsener if it's all fine
3)check if the RMAN is working fine
4)then just go trough the space if it's enuf
4.How frequently you will do cloning..
depends on the client requirement will perform once in a month or
tell them that its depends on client some times will do it in every 3 monts for
some clients.
5.why do u clone
if we want to make any changes or apply patches or code to prod instance,first w
e will do it on test and dev will apply then prod.
6.what is the size of your db

ans:200 gb,some dbs are 100gb,

7.how will u find database size
select sum(bytes)/1024/1024 from dba_data_files;
8.while applying db patch db should be down?then wat is the use of applying the
patch.
we are applying it for excutable files not on db..so if db is down it will not e
ffect,
9.is table and table space is physical or logica/.
