EPJ D is soliciting manuscripts to be published in a Topical

Issue of the journal devoted to Recent Breakthroughs in
Microplasma Science and Technology. We are seeking
original research papers of the highest quality that focus on
either recent scientific breakthroughs in our understanding of microplasmas or report new technological
applications of microplasmas. In keeping with the emphasis of EPJ D as a science journal, papers
reporting technological applications must provide some insight into the underlying plasma science. Papers
that purely describe applications of microplasmas will not be accepted.
The deadline for submission of manuscripts for this Topical Issue is July 31, 2015. Authors are invited to
use the online submission portal of the journal at https://articlestatus.edpsciences.org/is/epjd/. If you are
a first-time author with EPJ D, you must first register, which can be done directly on the above web site.
When submitting your contribution, please select Microplasmas Issue under the tab for Topical Issues. All
submitted papers will be refereed according to the usual high standards of the journal. We would further
appreciate it, if you could include with your submission the names and contact information of at least 4
qualified individuals who could review your paper. To help authors prepare their manuscript, detailed
