HLAC 1096 Lifelong Wellness Application Paper


Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this activity class?
After taking this class, I learnt lifelong wellness is more important than I though.
For example, before I think I sleep enough and do some execise will be enough
health for myself. However, I forget to maintain my wellness part. Such as diet,
muscular strength and stree management as well.

2. How would you apply this information to your life?


The textbook, "Total Fitness & Wellness" is a very detail infomation that teaching
us how to do execise correctly. The flexibilty related activity is the most inspirt me
the important step that I should do before and after work out. If we don't do warm
up and stretching, our muscle will easy to get hurt during work out time. I usually
have neck aches when wake up. After stretching my neck muscles everyday, I
feel my shoulder and neck are more relax and the pain is gone.

3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?


I insist to do exercise is not because I want to lost weight only. The most reason is
I enjoy to do different type of exercise. It also improve my relationship with friends
when we play tennis or valleyball together. I can see my emotion change and I
feel more enegry than before. It keep myself have positive thinking as well.

4. General ideas for improving this course?


I think somehow this course do have a little bit too much assigment to do. And if
there is some tips of how we can stretching. For example, share a youtube link of
how to do warm with some sport music that would more the class more fun than
just an online class.
