    Philosophy:
    Thisclassroomwilloperatewiththeunderstandingthatthisisa
    learningenvironment.Allrulesandproceduresareinplaceto
    cultivateandmaintainthislearningenvironmenttothelargest
    extentpossible.Ahealthylearningenvironmentconsistsof
    cooperationbetweenstudent(s)andteacher(s),cooperation
    amongstpeers,andanunderstandingofandaccommodationsfor
    individualsthatseektofurthertheirlearningexperience(s).The
    rulesandproceduresareputinplacetoencouragepositive
    behaviorthataddsandimprovesthisenvironmentandto
    discourageinappropriatebehaviorthattakesawayfromthehealthy
    learningenvironment.Eachstudentwillbetreatedfairlyandwill
    beaccommodatedtothegreatestextentpossible.
    Studentsthathavetheprivilegetobeinanextracurricularactivity
    (suchasband)areheldtohigherstandardsinregardstohowthey
    carrythemselvesbothinandoutofschool.Theexpectationshave
    beensetuptoappropriatelyreflectthisattitude.Additionally,the
    consequencesandrewardshavebeensetuptodothesameandto
    provideadeeperincentivetomeetandexceedtheexpectations
    listedabove
