What is a vibration?

In its simplest form, vibration can be considered to be the oscillation or repetitive motion of an
object around an equilibrium positon. The equilibrium position is the position the object will
attain when the force acting on it is zero. This type of vibration is called whole body motion,
meaning that all parts of the body are moving together in the same direction at any point. How
much of vibration is measure by amplitude, how fast of vibration is measure by frequency and
how its vibrating is measure by phase. Example of vibration on a vehicle is a vibration in car,
train and aircraft. For our project is a vibration on vehicle and we choose car for our analysis.
