Taught classes grades Pre-K through 5th and aided the Teacher in daily activities and procedures
Spring 2015 (1st Half) - Student Teacher at Westlake High School (January-March)
Rehearsed and conducted with two of the concert bands as well as the jazz ensemble. Ran sectionals
for the saxophone sections of two bands. Assisted with grading and playing tests.
Fall 2014 - Student Intern at Wallace Middle School
Taught the beginner saxophone and beginner horn classes as needed. Worked with individuals and
groups of various instruments during rehearsal to give private instruction. Provided assistance during
sectionals as well as generally throughout the workday.
Summer 09 and 11 - Camp Counselor for the Austin Summer Playground Program
Responsible for the safety, well-being, and entertainment of children ages 7-12.

Spring/Fall 2014 - Music Director for the Gamma Phi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
Directed and rehearsed the chapters choir and helped to coordinate and schedule music related events
and community service projects.

Alpha Sinfonia
Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and executing a weekend long retreat for the chapter as well as
various other bond-building activities throughout the semester.

Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and executing various service projects the chapter participated
in such as Bobcat Build.
