Hello Families!

My name is Caroline Kocent. I am a senior studying Early

Childhood Education at Boston Universitys School of Education. Im
originally from Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvaniaa town right outside of
Philadelphia. There I co-taught kindergarten for the past three summers,
where I myself went as a student. I have had previous part-time student
teaching placements in a first grade class at the Alcott Elementary
School in Concord, MA, in a preschool class at Boston Universitys Early
Childhood Learning Lab, and in a kindergarten class at the Pierce
School in Brookline, MA. Last spring I studied abroad in Auckland, New
Zealand where I volunteered once a week in a kindergarten classroom.
I am now excited to be completing my full time student teaching with
your children in Ms. Callenders class!
I began my student teaching at the Haggerty School this Tuesday,
and will be here full time until May 1st. I have really enjoyed getting to
know your children, and I look forward to meeting you as well!
