The style I used in my AP art pieces is combining highly detailed black and

white portraits with contrasting colors to portray both the emotions and
personalities of my subjects. My method of creating three-dimensional
portraits to make my pieces more lively and visually interesting was
inspired by my experimentation during the last year in Art 2, where I was
exposed to different artistic styles, and began developing my very own.
While trying different art project, I found that found my style generally
leans more towards attention to detail, using plenty of eye-catching color,
and pop-up art (using light weight materials like computer paper and
construction paper). With this years project, besides expanding my
exploration of realism, I have begun developing my skill for using attractive

color coordination and expressive patterns to give an individually unique

feel to each of my pieces.
