Meet the Student Teacher

Dear Parents/Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is
Tiffany Acevedo and I will be a student teacher in your childs classroom over
the next fifteen weeks. I obtained my bachelor of arts in English from The
College of New Jersey in 2012 and am currently finishing my Elementary
Education certification at Rider University through their Graduate Level
Teacher Preparation program. I am excited to be working in Ms. Lindblooms
classroom and am looking forward to learning everything possible about
teaching and creating an engaging learning environment for your child.
I have been working for the Hamilton YMCAs before and after school
programs for one year and a half and have completed observations in a
kindergarten classroom at Yardville Heights Elementary School. I have loved
every minute of my time in the classroom and feel I have learned so much
from both the teachers and children I have worked with.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child throughout
my time at Stony Brook Elementary School and will do my very best to make
this a positive experience for them. I cannot wait to work with you and your
children.
