newsletter compiled by
the staff of the Human
Resources Department,
and it is sent to all
employees.

New Development Project

Blood Drive Reminder

Crown Lake won the bid to develop and


construct the new multimillion-dollar
Business Centre adjacent to Metro Airport.
Connie McClure, one of the three senior
project managers, had been named as the
Business Centre project manager. The
project is expected to take more than two
years to complete.
Approximately fifty new permanent
employees will be hired to work on this
project. All jobs will be posted within the
next two weeks. The recruiting referral
program is in effect for all jobs. You can
earn a $100 bonus for each individual you
recommend who is hired and remains with
Crown Lake for at least six months. You
may pick up your recruiting referral forms
in the Personnel Office.

The Community Foundation honoured Lee


Daye of the Marketing Department with
the Maple Leaf Award for outstanding
service this year. The Maple Leaf Award is
presented each year to three citizens who
have made a significant impact on the lives

The Crown Lake quarterly blood drive is set


for next Friday in the Wellness Centre. The
Community Blood Bank needs all types of
blood to replace the supplies sent to the
islands during the
recent disaster
caused by Hurricane
Lana. Employees in
all divisions are being
asked to participate
this quarter because
of the current supply crisis. All three
donation sites will be used. Several
volunteers will be needed to staff the two
additional sites. The regular division
rotation will resume next quarter.

New Training Program


The pilot test of the new Team
Effectiveness training program was
completed last
month, and the
results were
excellent. Thanks to
all of you who
participated in the
development and
testing of the program. Your input is vital
to its success. The training schedule will be
announced shortly.
