TELEPHONE AVAILABILITY AND USAGE
TELEPHONE A house telephone with local access or pay telephone provided by
management so residents can make emergency calls and to assist them to make
appointments and acquire employment.
Residents can also have cell phones or pre-paid telephone cards. There are several ways
a phone can be made available.
Local calling restricted most telephone companies provide this service. Some residents
have learned how to get by the restriction by using special access numbers.
Pay Phones There are pay phones provided by telephone companies and private
parties. Home operators can also purchase their own pay phones.
Are emergency police, plumber, electric and gas telephone numbers posted near the
telephone? Below is a sample listing.
