Americas roads and bridges are falling apart.

Today, one in nine bridges in the United States is considered to be
structurally deficient.
These are bridges considered to be in need of replacement or serious
repair.
These dangerous bridges are crossed over 200 million times every single
day, with only a fine line separating a safe trip and the next highway
disaster.
Its time to stop jeopardizing lives every time a person drives to work or
school, the time to act is now.
Currently the government grants the Highway Trust Fund $45 billion
each year to repair roads and bridges.
However, the demand outpaces the supply as this amount does not allow
the Highway Trust Fund to keep roadways safe with the continuous
growing need for repairs.
Congress has not approved a new effort to raise more money for
transportation since 1993.
It has become impossible to fund Americas infrastructure system on a
plan that was created over two decades ago.
Congress has until May to make a decision on future spending for the
Highway Trust Fund.
Lets tell Congress to take this crisis seriously and allocate the proper
funding to address the issue.

Help tackle the problem by telling your member of Congress to support

the Highway Trust Fund and help rebuild Americas infrastructure for
the future.
Or become involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers to
help spread awareness.
Tell Congress to create jobs, benefit businesses, shorten commute times,
and make citizens safer, all by committing to fixing Americas roadways.
Lets make America stronger, support the Highway Trust Fund.
