Playing four, six or eight of them for that length of time or any fraction thereof will be the shortest performance. For longer per- formances (any length), tapes may be at any time rewound and put again into service. The following I Ching determined distribution programs may be freely realized in time (hav- ing established one situation, continue at any time to the next, etc., concluding the performance whenever. Where a situation is followed by the same situation (e.g., four tapes using four speakers followed by four tapes using four speakers), produce some change(s) (e.g., change at least one of the tapes, or, for at least two tapes, exchange speakers from which they issue). The following versions may be used in whole or in part with or without repetitions; other ones may be improvised following the nature of these.
