I chose to include this piece because I enjoyed writing this piece even

though I dont usually enjoy writing reflective essays. I think it highlights

that I am able to relate works to real life or personal situations. Before
writing this piece, I read the entire Freedom Writers Diary. Although I
found it difficult to settle on a topic for this paper, partially due to the vast
majority of topics covered in the novel, I finally settled upon this one.
Although I dont consider this my best piece of writing, I consider this to
be a good representation of me as a writer in a different style.
